Breakfast is served in the breakfast room looking out over Market Street or during the summer it may be taken on the rear lawn from where there are far reaching views across Romney Marsh. Breakfast is a feature of a stay at Durrant House. A wide variety of top quality and freshly prepared ingredients are offered on the menu and cooked to order. A vegetarian choice is available which includes home-made lentil patties and muffins.
The guest lounge looks down East Street, a perfect position to watch the comings-and-goings of the host of visitors from all over the world who enjoy the unique atmosphere of Rye. An extensive collection of books and magazines to suit most tastes is available for guests to borrow for a quiet read. Durrant House is licensed to sell alcohol and has an honesty bar in the guest lounge.
The garden offers a most relaxing place to enjoy a drink, read a book under the ancient tree or just admire the views overlooking the river and Romney Marsh.
